Clean room assemblers Norwood, MA

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday

Pay range: $22- $24.00 an hour

Summary:

The clean room assemblers are responsible for manufacturing test kits, assembling and testing instruments, and following work instructions, drawings, and bills of material. The role involves using standard tools, performing production tests, and documenting any issues while participating in continuous improvement programs.

Essential Functions:

  1. Read and follow assembly drawings and instructions.
  2. Assemble and test units, including setup and operation of machines, filling, labeling, and using software.
  3. Safely use standard hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.).
  4. Prepare units for quality inspection.
  5. Perform regular cycle counts in the work area.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to continuous improvement.
  7. Be trained to assemble, calibrate, and test products.

Key Attributes:

  • Skilled in instrument assembly and testing.
  • Ability to inspect and verify assemblies.
  • Capable of training other technicians.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of production assembly experience.
  • Excel, Outlook documentation experience
  • Experience in crimping, soldering, and assembling cables and harnesses.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Proficient with office equipment (Document Control software, ERP, Microsoft Office, etc.).
